Happy Thanksgiving 2012
We had a great Thanksgiving with the Lerwill Family. Everyone was there except Jeff and his family. We did miss them. Of course we ate good food and too much of it. It was so fun to have Dalan home and enjoy him. On Saturday we went out to Rexburg and met up with Jeff and looked at all his new elk fence he has been building and we went to DI and went and ate at DQ and then we met all of Stacy's family and went to a movie. It was Chasing Mavericks and it was really good. We had a great time.

Boise Idaho Temple
On Sunday we got to go to the stake center and watch the re dedication of the temple. It was good. Elder Bednar talked and others and president Monson dedicated it.
Donuts, Friends, Family, & Guns
On Saturday we had Chris and Audra Warburton and their family come over and we shot guns. It was a first for their girls and they had a blast. I made donuts and Dalan and Stormi helped fry and glaze them. They were so yummy. It was a fun time. I didn't get any pictures dang it.

Cute flannel burp cloth
I love getting things done, especially when they are so cute, soft, and cuddly. Even if it is meant for puke!
Another Project Checked Off-YES!
I bought this material (online) a long time ago thinking I would make a quilt out of it for me, because I loved the color. When it arrived I found out it was more of a baby quilt material. So I made a cute baby quilt that will someday belong to maybe one of my grand kids. How weird is that. Really weird. I told the kids that who ever had the first boy could have it. It turned out really cute.

Random Thoughts
I have had lots of random thoughts go through my head this morning. First thankful for Bailey and the sweet sweet girl she is. So thankful that she is o.k. from this summers experience. It gives me chills when I think about it. So thankful for our loving Heavenly Father who answered our prayers. The other day we got a random text from Bailey and it made me wonder what was going on with her. I called and all was good, she just had eaten a big brownie I had put in her lunch and she thought of us. So cute. Here is the text.
Hey mom and dad! I love u guys thanks for everything!

Second thing I thought about that is just trivia I guess is that we moved into our new house 10 years ago today. Crazy. We lived with my Dad and Mom for six months while we were building. That was a fun time for all of us. Things that stick out to me are how we flooded the basement, Bailey's baptism, and a sneaky tooth fairy who upped the ante on tooth money. We did a lot of fishing that year too down in the swamps with a weiny roast usually. Great memories. Thanks Dad and Mom for being the BEST!
We lived in our first trailer house for 5 years, which blows me away thinking back on it. We lived in our manufactured home for 9 years. I have the best memories of that home. I don't know why but it warms my heart to think about it. It was a nice home and I really liked the layout of it. I think why it is so special is because it is where we raised our young family. Oh I miss those young kids. But we have loved living in our new house too. We love that we are off any road and it is so quit and peaceful here. It is gorgeous and we love it. It is also so fun to have real walls to paint and repaint and I love real porcelain sinks. Plus lots more room for all of the stuff we have. We are truly blessed both materially physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Truly Blessed! So if you add up all these years we have been living in different houses you get that we will have been married 24 years next month. I can't hardly believe how fast time goes by. I love my life with my wonderful husband and best friend. We have two of the best kids ever. Thankful for all they do for me. We are excited to celebrate Thanksgiving next week with family and then prepare for Christmas. I love that we are still doing "firsts" post mission. It is so fun to have Dalan close by. Can't wait to spend Holiday Time with my family. We have some fun projects planned to. I will keep you updated on them.
Nathan and Hannah
Dalan's best friend Nathan Hartshorn is getting married at the end of December. He is marrying such a nice girl. Her name is Hannah Abbott and we like her a lot. She has spent actually quite a bit of time here with us and even spent the night at our house last summer. She is a sweetheart. We are so excited for both of them. This is what I made for them. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Quilt
I pieced this quilt like probably a year ago. Today I got it on frames and tied it and also bound it. I am very happy at how it turned out. Thanks Stacy for helping me get it on frames. That is a hard one to do by your self.

Fun Times
So while Bailey was having her party. Dalan had friend over that day too. It was so fun to have the house buzzing with excitement. Dalan, Stormi, Nathan, and Hannah went on a 4 wheeler ride and had a wiener roast up in the mountains. By the time they got home they were all pretty cold. They all got into the hot tub and got to watch Bailey and her friends do the treasure hunt from there. Both groups alternated from upstairs to downstairs around the food. It was a fun time. After Bailey's group left, Dalan and his friends played some games and then watched a movie. Stacy and I stayed upstairs and watched the Boise football game. They lost, sad. It was a fun day.

Drill Team Dance 2012
What a fun week end we all had. Bailey had a super great time at the dance. She said it was the funnest dance she has ever been to. She took Zane Dayton and Andrea Reece went with Caleb Moosman. Caleb picked up Zane and Andrea and brought them out to our house. When they got here they did a treasure hunt that I had made for them using riddles. It was a lot of fun and they had a good time trying to figure them all out. Then they came into the house and they made their own individual pizza's and ate. Then they went downstairs and played some games. Wendy, Andrea's mom came out and we helped the girls get ready and the boys got ready downstairs and we took pictures and they exchanged flowers. Caleb took them all to the dance and they had a great time. I was so proud of both young men. They were awesome and treated the girls so good. We met them and so did Wendy a little after midnight and brought the girls home. Bailey's feet and calves were hurting so bad. She had taken off her shoes and her feet were nasty dirty so here she is giving them a little bath before she headed off to bed. Dalan brought Stormi up for the week end and Nathan Hartshorn and his finance Hannah were here also. It was fun for Dalan to share in this with Bailey. I know it meant the world to Bailey. Yes Dalan your little sister has grown up. She is a beautiful young women.
