My talented boys!
Our friends Jim and Bobbie asked if Stacy and Dalan would build them a cabnet to put in their tiny kitchen in their old farm house that Jim's Grandpa built, which is where they are living. Bobbie so needed some cupboards for food storage, so Stacy said sure and this is the piece. It turned out so beautiful. We went to their house on Saturday got it installed. It looks great in their house. They are know working on a bench that will go against their wall so when their grandkids come they can pull the table out and the kids can sit back there.
Panter Fun!
Wednesday the 3rd of March we went to Pocatello and Bailey got her splint for TMJ. She is slowly adjusting and doing o.k. We sure hope she gets feeling better fast. We also took Katie, Macie, and Stockton to Pocatello. Wes brought them to our house on Sunday and he went home early Monday morning. We had such a great time with Katie and the kids. Macie played so hard with them. She loves Mario and her and Dalan spent hours down stairs playing. She is so dang cute. She went to town with Dalan and she told him she was going to miss him when he was on his mission. Dalan will miss her and Stockton so much also. Stockton loves Dalan and he got lots of loves from him. He also loves Stacy. He doesn't know quite what to think of me. He loves men. Katie and the kids and I went to Rexburg on Tuesday and had a great time. We also did some crafting on the cricket. I needed Katie's help to figure out a new program I got. We ran out of time, but had a great time anyway.
This is Macie teaching the kids how to Cong Fu Panda!
Don't you love our new center piece? I do!!

We had a great day! Dalan went to the temple today, and it was a really nice day. We had a great day and had great support. Bishop and Michelle Berry, Mitch Smaellie,
Roger and Natalie Kaufman, Cleve Booker, Jim and Bobbie Douglass, Jeff and Alana, Kalle, Lisa, and Verna were there to support him. We are excited to go to Twin Falls during Spring Break and then we will go to the temple there with Grandpa and Grandma, Katie, and Wes. Bailey will watch the kids. We have awesome families. It was neat too that after the sessions Bishop had some family names to be sealed, so Stacy, Dalan, and I got to go do those. Dalan got to experience all aspects of the temple. He was well prepared and I was amazed at how calm he was. It was really special. He also had a prayer answered that was neat. He did not want to wear his pump, he figured there would be plenty of other stuff to keep track of, so he said a prayer and left it in the locker room. This was probably around 10:00 am and at 2 when we got done he tested and he was 170. Wow. He knew his prayer was answered. Here is a cute story. He had a dream last night he was fly fishing down the river and a boa constrictor attacked him and was wrapped around him squeezing him. Well he woke up and his new top was wrapped around him three times. He said he had to stand up and unwrap. I think most of us can relate.

CUTEST KIDS EVER
Cutest Kids Ever. I am so excited, we went up on the ski hill road and tried to get some family pictures. We got some good ones that I think we will like, but I love this one of the kids! Dalan can be sure and take these to Arizona to explain to people what the white stuff on the ground is. The kids were even good sports, even though they really did not want to go do this. THANKS GUYS, I LOVE YOU. MOM

Bailey's Update
Bailey has had a rough week, but I feel like we are maybe getting on top of it and doing better. She didn't feel good again on Monday and missed school. She has been having a lot of stomach issues. I so worry about it, but decided the other day that I was going to put all my faith into the Lord and that she would be o.k. Dalan and Stacy gave her a blessing and she has been doing so much better. I feel so blessed. We also took her to the TMJ clinic in Pocky because she has been complaining about her jaw for some time. We did not have school on President's day and their office was open so we took her and found out that she defiently has jaw problems. After they examined her it hurt so bad that next week, because she can't open her mouth wide and do normal things. We took her back this week and they ran more tests and she got fitted for her splint and will start wearing it next week. It won't be fun and it isn't easy but I think she is willing to do it because she know it will help watching her Dad go through it and she doesn't want to hurt anymore either. I think everyone should have a look at how their jaw and mouth and teeth are. There are so many people that suffer and don't get the right help. Most dentists are not trained in this area. Here is a funny story. We have been talking about all the different symptoms that you have with TMJ and Dalan said well I have this one, my jaw pops in the morning and he made some other comments that made me wonder if he had a problem. Well when we were there on Wed. we asked Dr. Romriell and he asked Dalan some questions and said let takes some x-rays. So we did and he said that he has a really small joint and asked more questions, if his teeth lined up? Dalan said that one side fit together good but he had to work to make the other side shut completely. He put Dalan in the chair and with the computer took pictures of his bite. Basically what he needed was to have his teeth floated.(Us country people understand that) Dalan wasn't completely happy about it but the Dr. thought he could make his bite better and he should not have any problems. Dalan said "I'm not hurting, I'm o.k." But he didn't have a choice and we got him layed back in the chair. Dr. Romriell worked on him for maybe 10 minutes and asked him how it felt, and he could not believe the difference. When he explained what had been happening Dalan could tell that he was right. He was totally amazed all that night how much easier it was to shut his mouth. His jaw doesn't pop in the mornings anymore either. We are true believer's that they know what they are doing there. We are excited for Bailey not to have jaw pain, headaches, ear aches, and even being dizzy.(Really it has nothing to do with her being blonde!) We will keep you updated on her progress.
Dalan's Update
Sorry Katie it has been awhile. We have been busy getting Dalan ready, we went out last week and got all of his white shirts, a couple new ties, another good pair of shoes, and lots of misc. stuff like, shoe shine kit, alarm clock, sewing kit, first aid kit, raincoat, etc. It is very expensive but worth it. I think we should start a missionary store in Rexburg. Ferrell's in IF know how to get ya, by having all the stuff you need, which by the way is soooo nice. We still need to buy him some shower shoe, slipper, don't want to put your feet down on yucky stuff kind of shoes. We got his pants pressed that were hemed and we also bought 6 pair of dress slacks and we have got them back. We feel blessed Ryan gave us a suit that doesn't fit him and it fit Dalan perfect. Yeh, there is a 400.00 dollar savings! We had it dried clean and he is set. We just worry about him growing out of his pants. He was complaining the other day that they were getting tight. He is growing so much right now. He defiently has hit his grouth spirt in the last few months. We figure a month on a bike and maybe the pants won't be too tight. He He! We went to Walmart this week and picked up some more sheets, blankets, and personal items. I think we are getting real close. Today we just got home from the Distribution Center were we picked up his temple cloths and garments. He is going through the temple on the 4th of March. He is really excited, as we are also. Last week-end Dad and Mom came and stayed with us. It was fun to have them stay more than just a few hours. Mom helped me and we got his 4 generation pedigree chart all filled out and ready to go. I just need to gather some family stories now. His farewell in on the 11th of April at 9:00 and he will be talking with the Mission President of the Pocatello Mission. He said today he was more nerveous about that day then leaving. He will do great. Bishop gave him his topic the other night and it is perfect. It is on over coming trials.

Arizona, Mesa Mission, Here I Come!!
Ok here is the story. On Wed. night we had a family council to see how we were going to handle the opening of the call. Of course Bailey thought we need to wait for her (which I agree), so this is the plan we came up with. Dalan said if he can't open until after school he did not want to be home just waiting,(which I understand also) so Stacy, Dalan, and I went out to IF to buy groceries. We then went to Driggs and picked Bailey up from school and then headed home. Yes it was in the mail box. How excitng and nerve racking all at the same time. So we left all our groceries in the truck and met together in the living room. Dalan opened his call and read it to us. He has been called to the Arizona, Mesa Mission, english speaking and will be leaving on April 14, 2010! Wow, we were all excited and he is really excited. So begins the process of getting ready. We only have 2 months! Wow!!!! We have lots to do, but it will all work out. We need to begin the list!
Dalan made calls and spread the word!
