Cream Cans

These are so cool! These are cream cans. The first one belonged to Ephraim Josephson who is Morris Josephson's (Stacy's grandfather) father. The second one belonged to Ernest Bates who is June Bates Josephson (Stacy's grandmother) father. So if I confused anyone these are Verna's grandfather's cream cans which makes them Stacy's great grandfather's cream cans. Wow!
Both of them milked cows and separated the milk and sold the cream and then fed the whey to the pigs. These are smaller (5 gallon cans ) than the regular milk cans.

More Signs of Fall

The smoke it horrible here. Yes this is facing East so it is the sun and not the moon!

The fall wheat is coming and it is such a beautiful color green. Once again notice all the smoke.

Despite it being so dry the colors around our house are beautiful.

Always a good thing when Stacy is on the end of the hose cleaning up combines to put away for the winter months.

So True

Sadly I think this is my cleaning style

Game Camera

Look what the game camera saw in our drive way. A grizzly and a hog. Lucky for us the pig went to the slaughter the next day.

Farm Tree

How cool is this.

Canning

9 pints of salsa
12 quarts of Mandarin Sauce
6 pints pizza sauce
3 quarts pizza sauce
Beautiful Walla Walla Onions grown in Sugar City. They are huge and so yummy!

I love Roma Tomatoes. These are even home grown in the area, not just my home grown. :0)

Mandarin Sauce always makes me smile and happy just because it is so BEAUTIFUL! It just happens to be Stacy's favorite thing I can beside his raspberry jelly.

I am tired but so glad that I did it.
