Elder Lerwill has been an extremely effective instrument in the Lord's hands in bringing souls to the knowledge of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. The lives of many have been enriched by his wonderful example and always with a happy, obedient attitude. Sister Ellsworth and I are grateful for the opportunity of serving with him and consider him as one of our own.
During his time as a full-time missionary, he has been a worthy servant of the Church, the Savior, and Heavenly Father. He has magnified his calling and cultivated his testimony through diligent service to the people of Arizona.
The transition home after a successful mission can be difficult. I ask for your help and support for Elder Lerwill during this vital transition phase. It would benefit him tremendously to have an opportunity to serve in the ward or stake as soon as feasible.
President, thank you for the support you have given Elder Lerwill and his family. May the Lord continue to bless you and your family.
Sincerely
R. Spence Ellsworth
President, Arizona Mesa Mission

Elder Dalan James Lerwill
You are honorably release from your sacred calling as a full-time missionary.
No greater service can be rendered than to labor faithfully for the Savior in the salvation
of human souls. The gratitude of those who have benefited from your unselfish labors
will always be a source of satisfaction and encouragement to you.
May the joy that has come from conscientiously performing your duties
as a missionary abide with you and inspire you with a constant devotion
to the Lord Jesus Christ, whom you have served
