Ok, well we have had another amazing week here and have been so blessed. there is so much that i want to fill you in on! :) but first i will answer some of your questions! as far as baileys talk this weekend that is so exciting! I am so happy that you all had the opportunity to be involved in someones conversion. it is the sweetest experience ever! Bailey some good sources of information to use for your talk is always the bible dictionary and true to the faith. i was studying the other day and i came across a really cool story in the new testament. you might read it in your preparation or use it IDK but it applys. Its in Acts 9, i believe?! haha i don't have my scrips on me right now but it will be the last half of the chapter and if its not acts 9, look up the story where Phillip finds and baptizes an Ethiopian unic. awesome story on the knowledge that it takes to get baptised and how when that faith is gained the desire out weighs all sacrifices and trails that may come. :) hope that helps some.
That's so great that you got all the grain done and put away! so good to get that out of the hair and get a check coming! :) i cant believe that your talking about Christmas stuff already. and snow!?!? what the heck is that stuff. i wont be dealing with any of that this year! Christmas lights at the temple start Thanksgiving day and that's just right around the corner! cant believe how time is flying by!
Well here we go, we have had a sweet week! we taught Amanda again the beginning of this last week and she is doing so well. absolute miracle that we are in contact with her and she is so prepared! well we were teaching her and she stooped us and said that she had a concern. we told her to shoot and we can answer it, what happened next was so unexpected and a first for me on my mission. she said "Christmas Eve is too far away, I want to get baptized this next week end the 19th..." so needless to say we have been teaching her a lot and getting everything all squared away for the 19th, this Saturday! :) oh wow we are being so blessed. so get this, the same lesson that she told us that she wanted to move her baptism up, Antonio who is the Denee's Grandson who is living with them and we have been teaching for the past 4 months and only hasn't got baptized because of his parents permission said, "Elders guess what, my dad said i can get baptized!" so he will be getting baptized the following weekend 26th! so sweet. we were over there last night getting the baptismal programs set up and Amanda asked me to do the confirmation and Antonio asked me to baptize him! i am so excited! we are going to have a busy week trying to get it all together and ready to go. they are both so awesome and smart in the gospel. Antonio is 10 and just finished the BoM this past month and will always tell us what his favorite parts are and how many chapters are in each book and who the kings are in what year! crazy smart. so on Saturday night we were teaching them and we went over the baptismal interview questions and we gave each of them our planner so they could read along with the q's and see what it was going to be and as we were still talking about #1 Antonio was reading on and i was watching him and all of the sudden his eyes got really big and he spoke up in the middle of elder hancey talking and said "I think that Question #4 is for adults!" just the way he said it was hilarious! #4 is about serious crimes, abortion, and homosexuality! it was really funny and they are both ready and prepared. trials will arise and are arising that will try and differ them from the choice that they have made but they have unshakable faith and will go far in the church! we are so excited! :)
We were in Scottsdale for a lot of this week in meetings and i went on exchanged in Scottsdale with the A.P.'s and it was a lot of fun. way different world over there. totally different people and everything. we ate dinner with this lady who had a HUGE house and we had to pretty much get a ID check before we could go into her community. way different and i hope that i will be able an stay in a humble area because it would be a hard transition going to that. there are all extremes in the greater valley! I love it here!
We are having a blast as a companionship and tearing it up. we all get along so well and are having so much fun. i asked elder Hales if he knew the farnsworths and he said he might know there kids or nieces and nephews!? call and ask her if they know him. it is so fun having him with us and growing all together. :)
Well thanks for all you do and your love and support. keep up the good work and hopfully your thanksgiving preperations go as planned and you have a great week! enjoy the baptism and send me pics! :) ill do the same! love you all and take care!
Love,
Elder Lerwill

Expensive Popcorn and Soda Pop
Well it has been while since I have posted anything. I have been thinking all week that I need to do this. Last Saturday we decided to go to a movie in Rexburg. Bailey wanted to see Footloose. (The new remake) I liked the old one but was leery about this one being very good.(Looking back it probably wasn't the best then either) I had seen some previews of the dancing and really wondered. Well Bailey said lots of the girls at school had seen it and they all loved it. So we decided to try it out. Can I just say that we paid 37.00 dollars for a bag of popcorn and three pop. You ask why so much for pop and popcorn. Well we stayed for about 15 minutes of the movie and decided that we didn't need to see it. (Filthy) And by the way we left when dancing was still against the law.

E-Mail November 7, 2011
It has been a great week and we have been so blessed it is unreal. I loved hearing from you all and reading your email. sounds like you are doing good and getting lots done. WOW how the weather changed. it has been in the 50's here and i am freezing my butt off. it has been soooo cold and it feels great to be able and wear the suit coat again! :) that's crazy about all the wrecks and mishaps that have happened there on the roads and i am happy to hear that no one got hurt! Its always a worry when the first snow flies. i can imagine all these people down here if we got a good snow storm...it would be a absolute wreck! haha. it is really cloudy and overcast here this morning. we had a really awesome rain here this morning for about a hour. it felt so good to open up the doors and windows and feel and smell the cooler weather. Night and day difference between here and there. hope you all can deal with it! :)
Our week here has been incredible. i love my companionship! Elder Hales is with us from Roosevelt UT and is going to the Ukraine Russian speaking. it is so fun to have him with us and his greenie fire! his Russian is really impressive for only studying it for 12 weeks. he says prayers in Russian for all who meet him and he can carry on a fairly good conversation with people. we have been blessed to be led to some Russians speakers through members that have met him. it has been a ton of fun. great personality and really prepared missionary. Elder Hancey and I are doing awesome! he is great and we are tearing it up. he was companions in the MTC with elder Daniel Davis and it is fun to be companions with some one who is younger than me! haha. it is crazy how fast time goes by. he was only out about 6 months when we were together in Pueblo and he has changed and grown a lot sense then, that's what a mission does to you! :) he is really athletic and so is elder hales so we have a blast playing ball in the mornings. Elder Hancey played D1 soccer for Iowa Central Collage and is really good. We are doing great and having a blast! feels good, i have been so blessed with great companions...I payed my dues in bad companions early on in my mission, ever sense elder weaver i guess president has figured that i need to keep my sanity and happiness! haha jk, i have been extremely blessed!
Well we have seen some sweet miracles this week. we had been contacted by on of our members that one of their neighbors had contacted them and informed them that she had been seeing the Mormon.org commercials and has been on the site learning and researching about the church. She requested to learn more, wanted to be introduced to us, wanted a Book of Mormon and wanted to learn more about church services and "gospel laws and ordinances." we were in shock because no one outside of the church uses the word "ordinance" so we taught her on Friday night and it was an incredible experience. her name is Amanda and she is a single mother of 2. as we sat down to teach her we got to know her for a while at first then we asked her what her expectations were and her answer was "I don't have any 'expectations' other than i want to learn what i need to do to get baptized." Our answer was "aahhhh...Yes ma'am, we can do that" haha it was awesome. we taught her the restoration, word of wisdom, and about the sabbath day all in one lesson. she was so thirsty for the gospel. she would of loved to have had us stay and just teach through the night but we had another apt to get to. at the end of the lesson she started talking about baptism and how she has been thinking about it and wanted to do it close to Christmas because of the symbolism of Christs birth and her new birth. she will be getting baptized on Christmas Eve! She came to church yesterday and absolutely loved it. she is so prepared and has some issues to overcome but her desire and thirst will get her through any trial that could possibly arise. it was sweet and we are so excited to be able to work with her.
Next miracle. we just this week had a man move into our area named Richard. he is in his 50's and he has been out of prison for 5 years and just barely got off parole, this is the first time scene he was 18 that he hasn't been on some sort of probation/parole. he is a retired Hells Angel and has lots of cool stories! haha, he is so prepared and will be getting baptised this next coming weekend the 19th. blessing are being poured.
We have also set baptismal dates with a man named Daniel Hall and his wife Perla who is 60 years old and is looking for religion in his life. Already has read some of the Book of Mormon and is praying to know. he will be getting baptized on the 26th of November! :)
So ya it has been a crazy transfer week. we had ZLC on Friday, we have 2 new district leaders, 3 new missionaries in the zone and every companionship has had a transfer. so there is a lot happening. we also have meetings for 2 whole days in Scottsdale this week on Tues-wed and then we will be training our new district leaders on Thursday morning and because they haven't ever done this before we have to plan and prepare a district meeting. CRAZY, maybe we ill be able to keep our heads on straight. we are abnormally busy and elder hancey is wondering if this is normal! haha, it is quite the adjustment. we are doing great though and it is so good to hear that you all are doing good as well!
Hope that you all keep busy and safe and happy. your always in my prayers and i hope the very best for you in all that you do! Love you so much.
Love Elder Lerwill
p.s. will send companionship pics next week! :)

Missionary Discussion number 3
Wow, it is so wonderful to have the missionaries in our home and to have them teaching Hailey. She is so prepared, and we are so proud of her. Elder Workman just got his new companion straight out of the MTC, his name is Elder___________ and he is from Texas. He has been here like 6 hours. I was very impressed with him and Elder Workman. It is so fun to experience this and think of Elder Lerwill on his mission. Hailey is planning on getting baptised on the 19th. Bailey and her are so excited to go do temple baptisms on the 25th. How awesome is that. Next lesson is planned for Sunday. After Stake Conference we will take everyone home and feed them lunch and then have another lesson. The gospel brings so many blessings to us.

Halloween
Halloween sure isn't what it use to be around here. But we couldn't miss carving pumpkins. Bailey's favorite thing to do. She loves feeling the seeds and slime. She loves how it smells and get this loves how it tastes. Now not the pumpkin but the pumpkin guts and stuff. Funny girl. We sure love her and glad she keeps us a little on track with the rest of the world.
Also Halloween isn't quite normal around here, since we don't have very many neighbors or little kids. So glad that we did have 2 trick or treaters from some of our favorite neighbors the Kay's. We love these two cute girls.
