Misty's Cedar Chest

As a family we had so much fun helping Brett out with Misty's Christmas present. Stacy built a cedar chest for her. Here are some pictures. It turned out so beautiful!

Before stain.

Jackson Square Lights

The square was all lit up with LED lights, it was really pretty.

National Elk Refuge

We had a great outing on Tuesday we went to Jackson with our good friends the
Green's. We went and ate Chinese food and then went to the Elk Refuge and rode the wagons pulled by the horses out to the elk. We saw a lot of bulls and it was fun. Our other good friends the Warburton's run it and they were so generous and treated us great! We then went a drove on the other side ans saw the big horn sheep. We didn't have any binoculars so we couldn't see them very well, but it was good. We then went to Diary Queen and sat and visited and then went back to their home and watch a movie on their new big screen t.v. with blueray. It was fun. We had a great day. We are thankful for great friends.

Bald Eagle

If you REALLY look HARD there is a big horn sheep on the rocks.

Christmas 2009

Dalan spent a lot of time wrapping his Dad's present. He took hunting magazines and cut out individual pictures and pieced them all together. It was pretty cool looking. Dalan gave him a nice gun cleaning kit that Stacy has wanted for a long time.

Two pretty cool kids! We had a great time!

Dalan gave Bailey a cocoa making machine that is really warm and yummy!

Bailey gave Dalan his favorite fry sauce, favorite fuzzy peach sucker, and a Axe kit of yummy spelling products.
We did a lot of home made gifts for Christmas and it made it a lot of fun. Dalan made me a beautiful wood box. It is made out of walnut and really pretty. Stacy made me an oak magazine rack that is really pretty. I also made really colorful and fun pillow cases for everyone. We got them and a new pillow along with our new jammies Christmas Eve. Christmas traditions are so much fun. We had Garry and Verna over Christmas Eve and had clam chowder soup, rolls, and cherry pie. They also came over in the morning and hung with us. Stacy also really spoiled me and spent too much money but bought me a cricut. It will be really fun. Stacy got some new clothes, new hats to keep his ears warm, some bits for wood working and a base for a new wood working tool. We all had a great Christmas and we are all so blessed and spoiled! Dalan also got a new 22 pistol and Bailey got a new digital camera and ipod.

Lerwill Christmas Party

We had a great family Christmas Party at Ryan and Kalle's house on Friday the 18th of December. We had great food and there are so many cute kids to watch! We are so blessed!

Temple Square

We had such a great week end! We went and stayed the night with Brett and Misty and family and rode the train into Salt Lake from Ogden. It was a lot of fun.

First time for our family to ride a real train, pretty cool.

Temple Square was absolutly beautiful. The lights are so amazing! What a cute family!

On Sunday it was our 21st Wedding Anniversary. What a great way to spend it. On our way home we stopped and ate at Red Lobster in Pocatello. Where has the time gone? It has been the best! I am so lucky! Love you tons!

December 2009

Our Christmas Tree 2009. Not as burley as Bertha our tree last year, but still beautiful. Bailey didn't know if she was going to like it or not but is awesome, so pretty. We went with colored lights this year, it has been awhile since we have used them and it reminds me of Christmas trees when I was a little girl. What a great time of the year. It has snuck up on me so fast this year and I do not want it to come because then I know it is all over with. Weired huh?! I need to savor it all. I am trying really hard not to think of the dulldrum that begins in January when all the holiday season is over. It depresses me just thinking about it. Hey maybe it won't snow and spring will come early. Can't blame a girl for dreaming.
Early Christmas for me! Dalan has been working on this clock for one of his class at college. It is so beautiful, he did such a great job. He loves working with wood and is really good at it. He is just like his Dad. We are so proud of him. I will enjoy it in my home until he has a home of his own and then I will let him have it back. The picture doesn't do it justice. You really need to feel it to appreciate it.

Goof balls, but so much fun! Bailey decided we all needed to wear toe socks! Guess who is who? Stacy and I have the most awesome kids in the world! Dalan is home from school this week-end and he only has 1 week left. He is so ready to be done. He can't wait to hit the ski hill! Plus I think he is all out of money. Bailey has one week of school left also and then she is off for two weeks. We hope to have some fun for break. Simple winter family fun, and try to do some nice things for others who are less fortunate than us. Service does great things for the soul.
