Curtis Family Reunion
What a fun week-end. Thank You Cary and Stephanie and boys for being wonderful hosts and living in such a beautiful and fun place. We spent the week-end on the Snake River and had so much fun. Dad had his boat, Brett brought his boat, we had a water trampoline, water slides for the younger kids, cotton candy, and lots of good food and company. It was so fun to get together and just visit and be together. I have an awesome family and I want them all to know that I love them!

Families Are Great
We have had a great week filled with visits from lots of family and it has been so great. Cary and Stephanie and their crew came last Wednesday to do some camping in our great valley and we got to see them and spend a little time around the fire and they even came and went to church with us. Then on Sunday Dad and Mom came so that Dad, Cary and Kieran could go on a pack trip with the horses up to fossil mountain. Mom stayed here with us and we had a great time. It was so fun. I miss the days when we lived so close. So on Monday Mom, Bailey and I went out to IF and did a little shopping and went to the Museum. They are featuring the Titanic, it was so interesting and good. We really enjoyed it. Then yesterday we went and got wonderful apricots and we made jam. Yummy. They boys came home from their camp trip and we had a great visit and evening popping popcorn and visiting with Kieran. We miss him when he is not close. Stephanie, Josh, and Wade all went up to Badger for their Youth Conference and they had a great time and got back this morning. It was fun to see them. We are excited to see them and everyone else on Friday for our Bar C Ranch Reunion! I hope to get lots of great pictures and I will be doing an update for sure next week.

Yes we are a little redneck!
We won 2 free tickets to the Demolition Derby in Rexburg on Saturday, so we went out to IF and did some errands for the farm. We also got so lucky and we bought the lights for our shop from a friend who is an electrician and we got them for 150.00 dollars cheaper per light and we bought 4 of them. We could say we got lucky or just so blessed. We then went to the Derby. It was so hot sitting in the stands but we had a good time. Emotions were running high there and these people took it way serious. I thought we were going to see a fight too. We had a great time just hanging out together. We also went to Wingers for Dalan. He made a deal with me that if he got a A on his Econ. final I would have to take him to his favorite place. He did it and he even made the honor roll this last Semister. Bailey had all A' s but one B. We are proud of both of them!

Busy and Fun 4th of July Week-end
We have been so busy but have been having fun working together and making a dream come true. We started on our new shop last week. Scot Green and his crew started digging out trees and leveling the ground. It is pretty exciting. Dalan and Stacy even got to spend some time in the trucks helping. We got a huge down pour and hail on Sunday and it has stopped progress for a few days but we will be up and going again soon. The guy who is building the shop will be here on the 20th hopefully. We will keep you posted and I will add some pictures later. Anyway we went camping for the 4th of July and had a great time. We took our camper in on Wed. to save a spot and then we slept there Thursday night and came out Friday to work and then went back that night and stayed til Sunday. It was really low key, but we had a great time. We asked the kids what they wanted to do and they wanted to camp. No rodeo, no fireworks, no parade, it was really different but so totally great. Our great friends the Green's came on Saturday and we hung with them. They are awesome! We love them just like our own family. On Sunday evening we went to Connie's Pond to meet up with my Uncle Kent, Aunt Kathleen, Danny and Nancy and boys, Kent and Allyson and Michael, and Kent W. Lyons and his wife Liz. It was so fun to see everyone, it has been awhile since I had seen several of them. We came to our house afterwards and had a weiny roast, it was great. Family is what it is all about. To top of our week-end fun we got to go to Ryan and Kalle's house Monday night for a birthday party cookout for Tukker. It was also great fun and we got to see some pretty awesome fireworks!
