Last night the moon was so huge and it was a gorgeous night. Couldn't resist taking some pictures.

Snowplane! How cool.

A fun Saturday activity. Gary Jardine wanted to have Dalan take his snowplane and go for a ride. Dalan went down to his house on Friday and told him to come back on Saturday. Well Gary called Dalan this morning and told him to get down there, so he and Bailey went for a ride. They got into the open cab one first and it quit on them so Gary came and helped them and then rode around in his other one with them. They all had a great time. It was an absolutly beautiful day today. Makes you think spring could come, but we know better! Ha Ha

Beautiful Wood

I wanted to show this cedar chest box that Dalan made for me for Christmas. It is made out of walnut and the wood is so beautiful. It is all in porportion to a full size cedar chest. Cool huh!

Stacy made this magazine rack for me for Christmas. It is oak with red mahogony stain and it is beautiful.

We love our new shop and all our new wood working tools, it has been fun for all of us. We have more projects in the works so we will keep you updated. If anyone is interested??

Missionary Madness

O.k. we took 100 pictures trying to get a real good one to send in with his mission papers, don't know if this is the one that went, but isn't he handsome. He was good sport too!

Can we be done with this!!! Or is this the real look of a prospective missionary????

Dalan mets with the Stake President on Sunday and then his papers will be turned into Salt Lake and he could have his call around the 10th or 11th of February. My stomach just churned thinking about it!!

Jacee's Cedar Chest

Stacy and Jacee finished her cedar chest. Isn't is beautiful. Jacee did a good job designing it and picking out the wood and stain. She did a great job. She worked really hard to earn the money to make it. Way to go Jacee, we love you. Oh by the way it is cherry wood with walnut as trim and cherry stain.

Bailey Update

Bailey has started her second semester of her freshmen year of high school. How fast time goes by. She works so hard at school and is so organized. We are very proud of her. They did not have school on Friday because of the end of the semester so Bailey had a party to celebrate. Her first girl boy party and it was a huge success. She invited a great bunch of kids. She had Jessica and Jordan Warburton, Colby and Ryleigh Green, Riley and Emma Hodgson, Gabriel Wilson, and Dalan. They had a great time. We did too, Scot and Dani, and Caden came and spent the evening. It was fun. We also got to visit with Diane and Steve Green, Dana Wilson and Cindy and Jeff while the kids finished up. Good, good kids.

Dalan Update

Well January is flying by quickly, which does not hurt my feelings at all. Though it has been a pretty good month, I am always glad when it is over. I think it has to do with the lack of sunshine and Holiday let down. Anyway we have been working with Dalan's sugar levels and he has been wearing a Dexcom continuous glucose meter and it is WONDERFUL. He has been doing so well and really trying hard. On Monday he got another A1c done and in three week he brought it from a 9 to an 8! Yea! But o how scarey too, he can now turn his mission papers in. How can something you wish for their whole life make you want to put the brakes on. We are so excited and proud of him. It will be good but so hard to send him off.He is meeting with the Bishop tonight and he will do his thing and turn them into the Stake President. Wow!

A Great Sunday

We had a great day! Bailey got her blessing this evening and it was really neat and the spirit was strong. She is a beautiful valant daughter of God and we are so blessed to be her parents and we could not be prouder!

Burr.......

Well if you have to work outside it is not lucky, but if you are a 15 year old high school freshman it is really lucky. Bailey has had no school on Thursday and Friday. Yes we got out of school for the cold and incase you don't know our school policy it has to be 30 below before it can happen. Too cold, but it is so beatiful outside with the white mountains and clear blue sky. Stacy has enjoyed his heated shop especially on these cold days. Dalan went skiing yesterday and had a great time. Today we went to IF to visit Garry in the hospital, they are trying to help regulate his meds for them and we did some shopping. We always have a great time being together as a family. I had a Primary party this morning before we left. I am teaching the CTR 5 class and the kids are so cute! Bailey is getting her Patriarchal Blessing tomorrow and she is so excited, as we all are for her. She got a new dress today to wear and Dalan has his new suit. I will post some pictures tomorrow of the big day. I have a feeling I better take a hanky to church!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!

We got a great surprise, Wes, Katie, Macie and Stockton came and helped us bring in the new year. I am sorry to say we are kind of lame but we partied the best we knew how too. ha ha. Dalan was impressed we stayed up and watched a movie and didn't get to bed til 1:00. Wow for us old people! We had a great time.

Sunday on our way home from church it was foggy and Dalan took this cool picture of our place. We hope that 2010 treat us and all of our family and loved ones well. We truly are blessed even with all the obstacles that we all have to face. We pray the Lord's blessings to be with us all.
