Our Christmas Tree 2009. Not as burley as Bertha our tree last year, but still beautiful. Bailey didn't know if she was going to like it or not but is awesome, so pretty. We went with colored lights this year, it has been awhile since we have used them and it reminds me of Christmas trees when I was a little girl. What a great time of the year. It has snuck up on me so fast this year and I do not want it to come because then I know it is all over with. Weired huh?! I need to savor it all. I am trying really hard not to think of the dulldrum that begins in January when all the holiday season is over. It depresses me just thinking about it. Hey maybe it won't snow and spring will come early. Can't blame a girl for dreaming.
Early Christmas for me! Dalan has been working on this clock for one of his class at college. It is so beautiful, he did such a great job. He loves working with wood and is really good at it. He is just like his Dad. We are so proud of him. I will enjoy it in my home until he has a home of his own and then I will let him have it back. The picture doesn't do it justice. You really need to feel it to appreciate it.
Goof balls, but so much fun! Bailey decided we all needed to wear toe socks! Guess who is who? Stacy and I have the most awesome kids in the world! Dalan is home from school this week-end and he only has 1 week left. He is so ready to be done. He can't wait to hit the ski hill! Plus I think he is all out of money. Bailey has one week of school left also and then she is off for two weeks. We hope to have some fun for break. Simple winter family fun, and try to do some nice things for others who are less fortunate than us. Service does great things for the soul.
