Catch Up
I have so much catching up to do on the blog. Oh my, it is almost a little overwhelming to me. On June 8th, Stacy, Bailey, and Verna met Dalan in Rexburg and we went to Bill Cosby at BYUI. It was a lot of fun! I have always loved him. We had a great time. We also go to meet Dalan's companion Elder Trent Ricks. He seems like a super neat guy.
I also decided on a whim, like I always do to paint and redo my bathroom. Now yes I have been thinking about it for a long time but I just up and went bought paint and started. It took several days but I think it turned out great. Stacy helped me and we put up board and batten. It looks fresh and clean. The ceiling really needed to be painted because of a wonderful roofer, so it got the complete job.
During the 11th through the 18th was our annual Green Canyon week. We took our camper in on Monday night and stay until Wednesday night. It is always fun to spend time with family. We always eat yummy. That is the funniest part I think. On Sunday night we went up to Jeff and Alana's cabin and hung out and ate there. It was super fun. Dalan was there for that night and then he came on Tuesday night and ate and swam. It was a lot of fun. On Friday we took off and went to Twin to see family there and to be there for Father's Day. It was a lot of fun also. Family is everything! On Saturday the guys all moved cattle so us girls and the kids hung out at the house and then made a quick trip to town where I bought a new bedspread and curtains for my bedroom. On Sunday we went to church and then came home and ate. Spent the afternoon laying around for a while and left for home. We stopped at Cary's and Steph and saw them and Josh. It was a good trip. We all didn't want to face realities of work, school, and responsibilities. A to clarify I have the most wonderful father in the world and the most wonderful husband and father to me and our children. I am so blessed.
So we all got home and then this week it has been busy trying to not cry over the frosts. They just keep coming and coming. But it has warmed up and Stacy got busy spraying and we are hoping to finish that up. I have been preparing a lesson for Sunday and Bailey has helped me clean house. Dalan came home on Friday and the kids have got the pipe up and running while Stacy has been in the sprayer. Huge huge help. It is so fun to have them both here. It makes me so happy. Dalan also bought a new gun this week and Bailey got a new 22 for her birthday, so a little shooting has been going on also.

| Our new pick up's first road trip. We are liking it, we still can't believe we bought a Dodge??? |
It can be crazy how different years can be, but since we finished putting our crops in really early this year we decided we wanted to go do something different for Memorial Day. Like really leave town. So we decided to go to Lava and camp for the week end. We thought it would be fun to have someone come with us and we had talked about camping with Cary and his family and we also invited all of Stacy's family thinking that if maybe one of them could make it, that would be great. Well so exciting for us all of Stacy's family said that it was a go! Could not have planned that one any better. We had a great time, even if it rained all week end long. Some of us went to the big pool with the slides and etc. and got to spend about 15 minutes there and got rained out. We did enjoy all the hot pools though. On Sunday we drove over and visited with Darwin and Marianne and saw some of their family. It was a great time. Didn't get very many pictures but I snapped a few as we were getting ready to head home.
