Random Thoughts

I have had lots of random thoughts go through my head this morning. First thankful for Bailey and the sweet sweet girl she is. So thankful that she is o.k. from this summers experience. It gives me chills when I think about it. So thankful for our loving Heavenly Father who answered our prayers. The other day we got a random text from Bailey and it made me wonder what was going on with her. I called and all was good, she just had eaten a big brownie I had put in her lunch and she thought of us. So cute. Here is the text.

Hey mom and dad! I love u guys thanks for everything!

Second thing I thought about that is just trivia I guess is that we moved into our new house 10 years ago today. Crazy. We lived with my Dad and Mom for six months while we were building. That was a fun time for all of us. Things that stick out to me are how we flooded the basement, Bailey's baptism, and a sneaky tooth fairy who upped the ante on tooth money. We did a lot of fishing that year too down in the swamps with a weiny roast usually. Great memories. Thanks Dad and Mom for being the BEST!
We lived in our first trailer house for 5 years, which blows me away thinking back on it. We lived in our manufactured home for 9 years. I have the best memories of that home. I don't know why but it warms my heart to think about it. It was a nice home and I really liked the layout of it. I think why it is so special is because it is where we raised our young family. Oh I miss those young kids. But we have loved living in our new house too. We love that we are off any road and it is so quit and peaceful here. It is gorgeous and we love it. It is also so fun to have real walls to paint and repaint and I love real porcelain sinks. Plus lots more room for all of the stuff we have. We are truly blessed both materially  physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Truly Blessed! So if you add up all these years we have been living in different houses you get that we will have been married 24 years next month. I can't hardly believe how fast time goes by. I love my life with my wonderful husband and best friend. We have two of the best kids ever. Thankful for all they do for me. We are excited to celebrate Thanksgiving next week with family and then prepare for Christmas. I love that we are still doing "firsts" post mission. It is so fun to have Dalan close by. Can't wait to spend Holiday Time with my family. We have some fun projects planned to. I will keep you updated on them.
