December Update

  • Boy December sure does fly by. We have had a mild winter so far so that has been good for driving. Which we seem to do a lot of. We have made many trips to Rexburg and IF. It is a beautiful cold day here today. It is also Stacy's and I's 24th wedding anniversary. Pretty crazy. He is a wonderful husband and I am so lucky. Twenty four years ago the weather was not this nice.
  • Dalan moved home from college last Friday the 14th. He had seven tests that week. He worked really hard and passed all of his classes. Yeah. He brought Stormi home and she stayed til Tuesday and then she went to her home in Kuna.
  • Bailey will be out of school on Friday. She has had a hard week and on Tues. when we were going out to take Stormi and Dalan had his diabetes Dr  she skipped school and went with us. We had a great time. It was Poetry Out Loud at school and as she says that is boring so she really didn't miss much. We enjoyed all being together.
  • Today we took Dalan to the dentist and he got 10 cavities filled. Yes you read that right. He has only had one other filling in his whole life. He is terrified of the dentist. He did OK though with help of Valium, happy gas, and his iPod turned up really loud. He is still numb and has slept for the last 3 hours.
  • I am making sausage dip for Seminary. This is year # 8. The last year I will have to make it. Brother Calderwood is going to be sad.
  • Stacy can work on his 66 Chevy Pickup now. They finally found a wrecked avalanche out of California and got it shipped to Rigby. He is ready to start working on it.
  • We have also bought more wood and he is going to make Keely a cedar chest. He also made one for Jessica Warburton for her parents to give to her for Christmas. Speaking of Warburton's Michael made it home from his mission in Texas. He did a great job speaking at church and he was a great missionary and looks great.
  • We are excited for Christmas to come and I need to make plans for dieting already. Too much yummy food this time of the year. We have been trying to make our food family traditions all during December. Ramaki, Fudge, Cranberry Dip, Sausage Dip, Pickle Cream Cheese, and we still need to make sugar cookies and some ginger bread cookies.
  • Did get Christmas cards sent out!
