Saturday April 9, 2011 Happy Birthday Elder Lerwill
Can't believe our Dalan turned 20! We sure thought of him yesterday on his birthday! Actually not just on his birthday but all week I have been thinking about him. We are so proud of him and happy that he is enjoying his mission so much. Happy 20th Birthday Elder Lerwill
Bailey Shelf
Bailey and Stacy started this book shelf for Bailey's room during spring break. We got it finished this week-end and I am sure Bailey will have it full of books soon. They used the cut outs of her name that were left over from her cedar chest for the top. It looks great!

Tender Mercies
It is real interesting how the Lord works and blesses us. We have had several of those tender mercies in our lives. Dalan wrote home about a very special and sacred experience that he had at the temple and I know it is blessing his life and ours. Then this morning I returned a phone call from Medtronic Minimed. A guy had called on Saturday and we were not home and he asked Dalan to call him. Well since Dalan is in Arizona (and very busy I might say) I called him back. He has been assigned to be Dalan's advocate. O.k. whatever, we have been customers of this company for a long time now (probably close to 10 years) and we have never had anyone call us before. He wanted to verify address and that kind of stuff and let us know of a recall on skin prep wipes (which doesn't apply to us, yes!) and he wanted to make sure that he had enough pump supplies. I told him that Dalan had plenty and said we had switch his sister around and she wasn't using the same ones as him so he had plenty. Well he told me that since he was Dalan's advocate and we have two members in our family on minimed pumps that we qualify for a 20% discount.Yeah!!! I asked him how come we haven't known about this for a long time? Anyway I won't think about that and I will be very grateful for any help. Switching our insurance around so we can say we can afford it (which is really a myth) has been a little painful (more like a needle in your eye). I feel like Heavenly Father is aware and I am so thankful.

Elder weave is still really struggling, they sent him to phoenix where no one really cares what you say and it is harder to affend people out there! haha, he is still out though... we'll see, hoppe it all works out for him and he can keep his life in order! it is really hard for him because so young out on the mission he started a really bad rep for himself and all of his comps have preconcieved notions because of his past! hope the best for him!
Ya i know elder davenport. he went home like 4 1/2 months ago. that crazy that you run into as many people as you do that have connections to hear! i get the same from here to there! lots of people moving back up there now that the sun has started to show some heat. lots of snow birds! :)
That is so redikulous about blake shooting him self in the chest! he is so lucky... that could have been really bad! i hope that he can get out on his expected date and be ok! scary though, you never know what life is going to thow at you, need to be really carfull at all times! if you see him before he takes off wish him the best from me!

The Butler family in my last area are still doing really well. they are still active and bro butler has a calling and spoke in stake confence so thats awesome. the restof the family has not got baptised yet. i am not quite sure why but they are getting close! wonderful family and it will be a great day when they do!

We got transfer news on saturday night and i am so excited! :) I am going to be with elder Thomas. he came out with me and was in my MTC district! he is a great missionary and i am really excited to be able to work with him! :) i will send pics next week and i am sure you will recoginzw him from others from the MTC! :) we have never served around each other sence we have been out so its been a while sence i have had much to do with him but have talked with him at transfers before! it will be really great and we will work hard and get the area really going again! kinda stressful taking over the area and zone. we have a bunch of misisonary meeting these upcoming week so we will be busy getting all of those prepared and also everything else that is going on, so needless to say we are going to have a crazy rest of the month!! but it will be great! i am so excited to get a new comp, elder paiz has done really good but has slowed down some and so it has been kinda difficlut to keep things rolling, plus he has been packing his bags and getting all of that together so ya, and he got food poisonign at the beginging of the week so satan is really working on him and all of us but all be good! all the joys of transfers! he goes to the mission home at 4:30 today and flys out tues moring at 10! exciting for him.
to add to all the crazyness i have to go back to the mission home tomarro to pick up a brand new misisonary to stay and work with me tues-wed till transfers, so there is oging to be alot of running around but it will be great! i will spending the night tonight with the spanish elders, it will be alot of fun! :) they are great. i am sad to see some missionaries get transfered out of the zone but there are some awesoem ones comiign in so it will be great! i am really excited for this next transfer!
Tedd's baptism didnt end up going thorugh, he told his parents and they are going to kick him out and have prety much disowned him for even consitering getting baptised! pretty sad situation but he is strong and we talked with him on the phone and he said that no matter what they do, no one is going to keep him from getting baptised! he is such a strong spirit and will do great! he is really struggling right now though! keep him in your prayers! thanks :)

Spring Break
Well spring break is officially over and schedules are back to normal. We had a great week. On Friday the 25th of March we took off and went to Twin to visit family. We had a great time. We went bowling with Macie, Stockton, Katie, and Wes, we visited, shopped, ate well, we went to the Mongolian Wak and Grill. It was yummy and fun. We went to church with everyone and just relaxed. We went home Monday. It was great.
Macie and Bailey feeding the calves.
This was so cool. The bluebirds must have been migrating. They usually don't see bluebirds there and that morning we counted 14 in the tree. I was so sad that I didn't have my good camera and I had to take these pictures through the glass not to scare them. It was so awesome. I love love bluebirds. They make me happy and always bring a smile to my face.

These were are snow banks on the Pole Line road when we came home on Monday. Pretty hard to take when you come from Twin where is it totally bare and on the edge of green. We can't wait!
So for the rest of the week, we just did small stuff, like sleep in, go to Rexbure, Idaho Falls, and Bailey and Stacy worked in the shop on a book shelf. It was just really low key. On Wed we took Bailey to Rexburg to have an ultra sound done on her gallbladder. We think it turned out well and there is no problems. I think they will want to run some more test, but we think we will wait and see how whe does the next few weeks. On Friday we went to IF to buy some wood and we stopped and picked up Jacee and she spent the week-end with us. The girls had a great time. We also watched Conference. It was absolutly wonderful. So uplifting and good. Jeff, Alana and family and Lisa and kids came up and we had a great time watching Sunday Conference and eating yummy food and visiting. It was a great week-end.
