Sounds like you all have a great week there and been really busy and seen lots of miracles! that is so sweet for Hailey. I am so happy that she made it and is such a strong willed person. she will go far in life and will effect many people along the way! It makes me so happy that you all are having missionary experiences and are feeling of the wonderful spirit of sharing the gospel! So sweet! Bailey it looks like you had a blast at the dance and you all looked beautiful! that is so much fun. I dont recognize any of you. i cant figure out who the other girl besides Jessica that went with you is? crazy, these people look like adults...not my little sister, goodness Riley has a Adams apple the size of a coconut! haha CRAZY how people change, especially in the short 8months i have been here in Arizona. looks like you had fun and that makes me happy! :) keep it up. your grades are remarkable as well. dont know how your doing it but keep it up!

Just FYI, i got your package and have loved the hot coco! it has been freezing here, got down to 48 a few nights back and we could hardly handle it! ;) still enjoying the tape a little every night and just enjoy hearing from you! you were asking about sending things and how the lay over is in the mission home. well if you sent that on Monday, i got it on Friday! :) Sure was a day maker! thanks

Well...we have had a amazing week as well. so many blessings and miracles. Amanda's baptism went picture perfect and she had a awesome experience. yesterday after her confirmation she was asked by bishop to come up and bare her testimony and she did such a good job. some one not knowing would have thought she had been a member her whole life! her line that she has been quoting a lot lately has been "God hasn't been whispering to me, he has been yelling at me" she sure has followed this direction from God with unshakeable faith and determination to do what will please God, not caring in the least bit what the world may think. And trust me if someone doesn't like what she is doing or doesn't agree...she will let you know and more than likely you will leave having an extra hole some where that you don't need! haha she is a very bold and straight forward lady and will make an incredible contribution to the church of God! so awesome to see the progression and growth of these wonderful people!

Richards baptism also went really well. he is so solid and extremely happy to finally get to this point! As he came up out of the water he clapped his hands together 2 times really loud as he was living his personal waters of Mormon. "This is the desires of our hearts, and they clapped for joy and were baptized." he is awesome and so much fun to teach! Always so interactive and willing to learn and grow! we have so much fun with him (as you will probably tell by the pictures). Great man and feel honored to have been able to be a part of his conversion and life.

Antonio will be getting this Saturday at noon. we are so excited for that. i am extremely excited because i get to baptize him. it will be sweet. he is so smart and is completely aware of the decision and life changing choice he is making. the elder that did his bap. interview could hardly believe it. he said that during the interview he was quoting Isaiah to him!! crazy kid. he is so ready and excited for this weekend! :)

This morning i got my teeth cleaned and it feels so good! she said that she doesn't see missionaries teeth hardly ever look as good as mine. brushing and flossing good and she said that i must have a good mom who taught me well and made me swish fluoride! :) thanks Mom

Haven't got my flu shot yet...no one down here gets them. i guess its just not "the cool thing to do" right now. but maybe ill over look the ways of the world and get one...just for you! :) my sugars are doing really well. not too many lows and not very often am i in the 300's so that's awesome! i am being so blessed! :) getting a hair cut today as well! cant wait, i am in dyer need of one!

For thanksgiving we are going to have a turkey bowl (annual Football game) and then we will spending the day with a few different members and investigators through out the day so it will be enjoyable! we will not go with out! Hopfully get a good nap in and lay low.

I hope that you are safe in your travels to Twin and every where the hollidays take you. tell every one hello and that i love them am doing well and having fun! hope you eat lots and enjoy the wonderful spirit of family and the Hollidays. it is truly the best time of the year! Christmas lights are starting up Thanksgiving day and we get to work at them for the opening night! it will be great! My absolute favorite time of the year. everyone is kinder and more loving and charitable. everyone is more like Christ and thats what this life is all about! how blessed we truly are! keep it up and we'll be talking soon. Love you and have a good one!

Google-What hand do you wear your flowers on?
Answer: Right to be proper. (Whatever)

The handsome, crazy boys.

Funny moment. Riley said to Bailey, this sounds weird but it's nice slow dancing with you because I don't have to look into your eyes and have that awkward moment. Bailey laughed so hard. One good thing about being short.

Hailey Becker's Baptism

Great group of kids

Hailey and her family

Elder Workman, Hailey, Elder Butler

Elder Workman, Hailey, Elder Butler

When we make a promise to our Heavenly Father and He makes one right back to us, those promises are called covenants. Heavenly Father never breaks His promises to us and we need to try every single day never to break our promises to Him.

Hailey you are entering into the baptismal covenant. As you are baptized today you will promise Heavenly Father that you will remember and follow Jesus and keep all of His commandments. You promise to stand as a witness of God at all times in all things and in all places. You are taking upon you the name of Christ.

Heavenly Father Promises are that He accepts you as a member of his Church. He will forgive you when you make mistakes. He will also give you the gift of the Holy Ghost and promises you eternal life if you remain obedient here in this life.

Being baptized and confirmed through the Priesthood is your key to living with Heavenly Father in the Celestial Kingdom forever and ever.

All of Heavenly Father’s children need to be baptized. Being baptized is the only way there is for us to return and live with Heavenly Father. Being baptized and going under the water washes you clean.

Adam was the first man on earth and he was baptized. Alma in the Book of Mormon was baptized. Jesus also needed to be baptized. Even though Jesus had never sinned he still needed to be baptized. He set the perfect example for all of us.

Every Sunday you will have a chance to remember the covenant you make this day. When you bow your head and take the Sacrament remember the promises that you made with your Heavenly Father. Take time to think about your week and see how you can do better the next week. Remember that Jesus died for us and was resurrected that we all might live again someday. He suffered in Gethsemane to atone for our sins so that we can live with Him and our families for eternity. We just must choose the right, read the scriptures, pray always and obey all the commandments and these blessings are ours.

Hailey, your Heavenly Father is proud of you and your choice to be baptized. He loves you.

I am proud of you……..

Birthday Dishes

My Dad and Mom gave me money for my birthday to buy some new dishes (since I have a modge podge of almost 23 years of accumulation of dishes, none matching). Verna also gave me some money for my birthday. This is what I got. I think they are cute and cheery, I really like them. Lucky me.
