Dear family,
things are crazy... i am transfered to Apache Junction and east mesa. my new comp has only been out one month and it is going to be a crazy hard next few week. he is...going to be a tough one to get along with. ill tell more in a letter. i dont have much time but i will get a good letter sent soon!
oh wow, i feel like crying, it has been so hard to leave SF and all the ppl there, now i am in the crazy city, dont know any one and the work is dead... but i guess that is why pres put me here, to see if i can help it out at all. i am so overwhelmed and stressed out! i just feel like breaking down, but i will get over that soon i hope! :) i really hope that me and elder weaver can make this work. he is from georgia. so please pray for me! i need all the help i can get.
we are covering the salt river stake. so tell the fam down here, i am sure that there is some one close to here! :)
Its really hard to be here, i feel all alone again and it sucks!...but i will get through.
bailey, hopefully you can find that bull of yours! :) that would be so exciting! :) be sure and send pics!
I love and miss you all soo much, it is going to be really hard for this next little bit but i am sure i will learn all kinds of lessons from it!! so i will keep on keepin on and move forward! please keep in touch. i love the letters! thanks for all you do! my health is doing good, have my ups and downs but for the most part good! :) so alls well.

This is Dalan's latest letter and I have sure worried about him a lot. Can't wait to hear from him and get the whole 411. This tests my faith I think more than his. Hope he is doing o.k. and a little brighter by now. We love and miss him so much but are so proud of him.
