Harvest Break

HARVEST Break was exactly that this year. Which is good, don't get me wrong it just has been really different for us grain farmers for the last 3 years. We use to never worry about doing grain during Harvest (Spud) break but we have been just doing that for three years. The only good thing I can say about this year is that it DID NOT snow like the other two. Thank goodness. The break this year is only 2 days, Friday and Monday. On Friday Bailey and I went out to Rexburg to do a few things and ended up having a real great day. She has been thinking about asking someone to the Drill Team Dance (girl choice) that is in November and so she has been looking at dresses online. Well she wanted to look in Rexburg even though they don't have a whole lot for this, just 2 small stores. So anyway we went into the one store and took a look and she found a couple real cute ones. She picked up this pink one and put it back on the rack, she is not a real pink person, but then she came back to it and decided to try it on. It looked so cute on her, except of course there were no sleeves and we have to add them. It looks so feminine and pretty but not like a sixteen year old year trying to look like she is 21. (If you know what I mean?) Well like I said we were not going to buy a dress but the lady went to look at the price tag to see if you should take any off the price and she turned the tag over and the dress was 50 % off. Wow! So how could we resist. It cost 70.00 dollars. We will have some more into it to put sleeves and make a corset in the back, but we thought we got a great deal especially for a formal dress. She is so excited to get it back, she just need to get a date now. I am excited for her, fun time in life. We took the dress to IF to get altered and we picked up Jacee from school and took her with us. I thought these two young girls would have fun doing this. They are really good cousins and friends. We did have a great time.
On Monday for the break we went to Rexburg again with Stacy and picked up parts and did some case lot shopping and then came home and later that night and went to Victor and watched Toy Story Three. OH so so cute, what a good movie, we loved it. It was hard to have to gear up for school this morning.
