Hello hello, its monday and our pday! i hope things are going well there and you are getting lots done there, i am sure the weather there is bueatiful... i would give anything for a little snow and some 30 degree temps! :) well i have alot to fill you in on so i better get started! :)
this week has hands down been the most crazy week of my mission! last pday all the elders had a sleep over and there was a lot of disobediant things that happend, as you always said, nothing good ever happens at sleepovers...haha wow were you ever right! haha so i told president about it all and he drove up from the mission home and had a special district meeting with us and talked about obediance and called us all to repentance! it was a wonderful meeting and we got that problem taken care of so that is defently a good thing. then after the meeting pres asked to meet with me and elder weaver. so we sat down with him and he told elder weaver that there were members calling in left and right complaining about affending them or not being dignified and all kinds of other crazy stuff and that the stake had requested that he be moved out of the stake...so needless to say i have been on the phone with president ALOT this week! we have such a good relationship and we are getting things taken care of! :) but elder weaver will be getting emergency transfered some time this week! crazy!! the member trust in him has died and they have no desire to have us over for dinner or for member lessons until he is gone, so they left pres with no option but to ET him. so i will be getting a new compantion this week some time! prety crazy! our area has been picking up though, we have 4 dates set for Nov and we are finding so many new investigators it is awesome! :) i am hoping and praying that i get a amazing companion who will work hard with me and be exactly obediant! but the Lord will give me what i need to grow! not always easy but worth it!
haha ya that is pretty crazy that i asked to talk in sac meeting! but it went so well, esspecially sence everyone is struggling with trust. after sac. meeting i had several ppl come up to me and tell me that as soon as elder weaver leaves, that they have a friend that they would like us to come over and teach! WOW, it was amazing!
i remember the situation of the missionaries in our home ward and how no body was giving them any one to work with cause they had lost the trust of the ward and thinking to my self that i was NEVER going to be that missionary! member trust is so important in moving the work forward! i love the members here so much! once they see that you are here to work and to love and serve, they will bend over backwards for us! :) our ward leadership in our 4 wards is incridible!! they are so gung ho on missionary work and want to help us out so much! i will be having the opertunity to be talking in our other wards here soon as well and i am excited! :) If any one would have told me that i would be saying that 6 months ago i would have never believed them! haha, but a mission is amaizng! it has been such a learing and growiing expirence and i am just starting! i love my mission so much! it is a life changing expirence! i am so excitied for micheal to get out and going on his and everyone else that is working on it, it is so hard, but as you work hard, be obediant, and serve out of love, time goes by so fast and you learn so many things that cannot be learned any where else!
so this week is going to be just as crazy as this past week! pday is today because tomarro elder evans from the 70 is coming to our mission and is going to train us from 8 in the moring till 4 in the after noon! i am so excited! it will be a amazing expirence!
yes i have been testing! my bg's are doing really well, it is defently a roller coaster being on a bike but i am handling it really well! :) I need to be better, but the Lord is providing! :)
i cannot believe that it is already November. time has gone by so fast! CRAZY! we have so many good things that are going to start happening in our area as we just keep working hard and PUSH!!! push as in Pray Until Somthing Happens! :) thats all we can do! :)
So you all keep doing the same thing and it will all work out! :) I love and appreciate all that you do for me and all you love and support. keep up the good work there and ill do the same here, be safe and have a wonderful day/week!
Love,
Elder Dalan Lerwill
