Letter from President Ellsworth

January 6, 2011

Dear Brother and Sister Lerwill:

We are pleased to inform you that your son, Elder Dalan Lerwill, has been called to be a Zone Leader.

We are grateful for Elder Lerwill's faithful diligence while serving in the Arizona Mesa Mission. A zone leader is responsible for the spiritual welfare and productivity of every missionary in his zone. I count on a zone leader to assist the missionaries in his zone in all aspects of missionary work. A zone leader must be an exemplary missionary, demonstrating leadership capacity, utmost obedience, expertise in teaching, and the ability to inspire and lift the other missionaries in the zone.

A zone leader is a vital component in the success of the mission. The opportunity to serve as a zone leader will provide your son with many experience to learn and grow as he strives to fulfill his calling.

Thank you for raising such a fine son and for  your support of his missionary effort. Positive and uplifting letters from home, encouraging him in his responsibilities will strength and inspire him.

Sincerely,

R. Spence Ellsworth
Mission President
