Last E-Mail from Elder Lerwill in Az. March 12, 2012 Bitter-Sweet

Wow thanks for your emails this week, i think that i got them all! :) This past week has been a complete roller coaster ride. it has been like the past 2 years of emotions crammed into 7 days. hard to explain but i think you might understand a little! haha. but it has been good. we have seen so many miracles and blessings this week and it has been fun having elder Bowerman with us. he is a great missionary and will do great here.defiantly has a different teaching style that I and elder Hyrkas has been taken back with that and trying to adjust. its a hard thing to do but they will do great.

the new investigator that i told you about (Chris) that we found last Sunday night is doing great. she came to church for all 3 hours and loved every min. of it. she has great fellowshippers and lots of support and love coming from the ward. she will be getting baptised on March 30th. way prepared and is going great. as she has started learning about the church she sure has received a lot of opposition from her friends and family but her faith is amazing. as she tells us of the things that she is going through and how she is being blessed there is no way you can doubt that God is working and active in her life. So cool to see and watch her grow in the gospel.

My ankle is doing good and healing quickly. i think i will be ready for a walking boot in a week. the cast and crutches are such a pain! not quite the triumphant arrival home that i was imagining but it will all work out. :)

Crazy that you are planning on so many people at my home coming! i wasn't very nervous till i read that, haha. it will be good though. i am excited to see every one for a few days and then come back out here on my mission for another 2 years or so...ha, if only if only. it will be good once i get there.

This past week has been extremely challenging to stay focused. everyone here talking about hasn't helped either but just within myself i never thought this time would ever come and guess what, it does and it has kind of freaked me out, all is good. I will just live in denial for the next 2 days. haha

Well i would like to thank every one one last time via email for all your love and support over the past 2 years. it has been an incredible journey and has forever changed my life. the blessings and miracles that i have witnessed have left a unforgettable impression upon my mind and heart and there are so many people who i have seen change. this is a testimony to me that no matter who you are or where you are coming from you can come in or come back to the literal fold of God. we are so blessed to be a part of this gospel and thereby be recipients of the fullness of blessings. Thank you for everything. have a wonderful week. keep safe, healthy, and happy. Pray my plane doesn't crash! ;)

Love

Elder Lerwill
