Hello everyone there. It has been another crazy week here in AJ. I am more regularly stopped and thinking about all that i have been blessed with and all the we have. we are so blessed and i am so thankful for all that i have been given. thank you all!
good to hear that you got the hay up and it turned out good. that's got to be nice to have a mid year check! haha i hope that the second crop comes in good and you can get a little more. how many more years do you have on that rotation? are the bugs gone or thinned out do you know? it would be great if you could keep it in for a little while longer! :) I cant believe that your planting fall wheat. time is slipping past so quickly. i cant believe that july is almost over. i read through some of my journal entries from a year ago and it feels like yesterday. pretty crazy.
If you would call BYUI and ask if i would have to re-apply i would really appreciate it. that would be great to know! :) thanks.
Last pday we went on a scenic drive up behind the superstitions and got some cool pics. today we are going to just hang low and relax a little! :) I got my A1C taken this morning and it is 8.1!! i was happy to see that.i need to keep trying to get them under tighter control but it was a relief to see they were where they are! :) I got my prescriptions transferred to my walmart here and will be getting new insulin in the morning so be expecting that transaction! :) thanks so much.
i am so glad to hear that grandpa C is doing good. that was scary to hear about but i am glad that he got it all taken care of and now he just needs to keep Low and chill! haha, i will keep him in my prayers!
i hope that you get a chance to go camping this weekend. that would be really fun for you all to go and do. everyone was leaving the valley down here and headed for Pason and snowflake for the 24th celebrations and to go camping! it sure is a busy weekend up there!
The weather down here has been a little bit nicer, it has only been in the low 100's and dropping into the 90's at night and raining. we are starting to get some regular monsoons but nothing like SF! it has been a little bit of a relief, it is super humid out side right now and that is a different thing to deal with haha! :)
you mentioned transfers and they are the 10th i believe. i should be staying here. i am almost 100% positive unless president has so crazy whim and sends me some where else. highly doubtful though! :) i will be happy to be here for a while longer! it is for sure an exciting area! we are being so blessed! we got a phone call from a investigator on Saturday and she wants to be baptized. we have a lesson with her this week and we'll see what all happened to spark this sudden change of heart. pretty exciting. Also we have seen a huge miracle! we have been working with Brads (RC) friend Ashton. he was a punk when we first started meeting with him but he felt some thing at Brads baptism and he wanted to know more. we taught him this week and it was a incredible lesson. he said how he has been reading tons and praying morning and night. some other missionaries ran into him at walmart walking down a isle reading the book of Mormon! so sweet. he brought his dad and sister to church on Sunday. he is just so excited to learn and be baptized. he has a baptismal date for the 13th of Aug. and is looking really solid. we were talking about planning a trip to the visitors center with him tomorrow and we were talking about the spirit that is felt there and his comment was " i am afraid that if i feel the spirit too much more i am going to pop! is this how you feel as missionaries?" he wants to serve a mission and on Sunday at church he was talking to his dad about the different places he would like to go! he is amazing! i am starting a tape today so i will include some more details! lots of good stuff happening!
I got a call from elder Thomas yesterday and Terri O'Brien is getting baptized this Saturday at 11:00 and she wants me and elder Thomas to sing at her bap. hahaha, just us two so it should be kind of interesting! :) pray that all goes well! she is one of Lee's friends that she introduced to the Gospel. so sweet to see Recent converts doing missionary work. also heard that the Stoneburgs went and did baptisms for the dead and loved it! so awesome to see them progressing the way they are!
I am sure i probably for got something i wanted to tell you so i will write you all a letter and let you know if there was something else new and exciting! :)
well i hope that all is going well there and you continue to be blessed. glad to hear that everyone is doing well. keep up the good work and enjoy the rest of your summer. go get a pop and jerky and relax a little after you get the pipe off! (has Bailey been helping with that at all?) haha. have a wonderful week and take care, talk to you all soon!
Love,
Elder Dalan Lerwill
