Ok, well we have had another amazing week here and have been so blessed. there is so much that i want to fill you in on! :) but first i will answer some of your questions! as far as baileys talk this weekend that is so exciting! I am so happy that you all had the opportunity to be involved in someones conversion. it is the sweetest experience ever! Bailey some good sources of information to use for your talk is always the bible dictionary and true to the faith. i was studying the other day and i came across a really cool story in the new testament. you might read it in your preparation or use it IDK but it applys. Its in Acts 9, i believe?! haha i don't have my scrips on me right now but it will be the last half of the chapter and if its not acts 9, look up the story where Phillip finds and baptizes an Ethiopian unic. awesome story on the knowledge that it takes to get baptised and how when that faith is gained the desire out weighs all sacrifices and trails that may come. :) hope that helps some.


That's so great that you got all the grain done and put away! so good to get that out of the hair and get a check coming! :) i cant believe that your talking about Christmas stuff already. and snow!?!? what the heck is that stuff. i wont be dealing with any of that this year! Christmas lights at the temple start Thanksgiving day and that's just right around the corner! cant believe how time is flying by!

Well here we go, we have had a sweet week! we taught Amanda again the beginning of this last week and she is doing so well. absolute miracle that we are in contact with her and she is so prepared! well we were teaching her and she stooped us and said that she had a concern. we told her to shoot and we can answer it, what happened next was so unexpected and a first for me on my mission. she said "Christmas Eve is too far away, I want to get baptized this next week end the 19th..." so needless to say we have been teaching her a lot and getting everything all squared away for the 19th, this Saturday! :) oh wow we are being so blessed. so get this, the same lesson that she told us that she wanted to move her baptism up, Antonio who is the Denee's Grandson who is living with them and we have been teaching for the past 4 months and only hasn't got baptized because of his parents permission said, "Elders guess what, my dad said i can get baptized!" so he will be getting baptized the following weekend 26th! so sweet. we were over there last night getting the baptismal programs set up and Amanda asked me to do the confirmation and Antonio asked me to baptize him! i am so excited! we are going to have a busy week trying to get it all together and ready to go. they are both so awesome and smart in the gospel. Antonio is 10 and just finished the BoM this past month and will always tell us what his favorite parts are and how many chapters are in each book and who the kings are in what year! crazy smart. so on Saturday night we were teaching them and we went over the baptismal interview questions and we gave each of them our planner so they could read along with the q's and see what it was going to be and as we were still talking about #1 Antonio was reading on and i was watching him and all of the sudden his eyes got really big and he spoke up in the middle of elder hancey talking and said "I think that Question #4 is for adults!" just the way he said it was hilarious! #4 is about serious crimes, abortion, and homosexuality! it was really funny and they are both ready and prepared. trials will arise and are arising that will try and differ them from the choice that they have made but they have unshakable faith and will go far in the church! we are so excited! :)

We were in Scottsdale for a lot of this week in meetings and i went on exchanged in Scottsdale with the A.P.'s and it was a lot of fun. way different world over there. totally different people and everything. we ate dinner with this lady who had a HUGE house and we had to pretty much get a ID check before we could go into her community. way different and i hope that i will be able an stay in a humble area because it would be a hard transition going to that. there are all extremes in the greater valley! I love it here!

We are having a blast as a companionship and tearing it up. we all get along so well and are having so much fun. i asked elder Hales if he knew the farnsworths and he said he might know there kids or nieces and nephews!? call and ask her if they know him. it is so fun having him with us and growing all together. :)
