Christmas Eve Day was full of family time mostly in the kitchen. We had a great time making all kinds of yummy traditional food. We had clam chowder soup for super that night with home made rolls. We also made cookies, rumaki, pickles & cream cheese. We had a lot of fun. We ate and opened Dalan's presents that he sent home. He gave us awesome t-shirts and Bailey a CD, Dad and Arizona hat, and me some green tree shampoo and conditioner. It was awesome. Bailey also opened her new pj's. She was suprised to get one piecers with feet even. She laughed pretty hard at that and we had fun. We read about Jesus and his birth, life, and reserrection. We then watched Christmas with the Kranks and had a good laugh. Christmas morning we got up and opened presents, relaxed a little and then got ready for church. It was great to go to church on Christmas Day. We hurried home and Dalan had called we had missed him by about 5 minutes. He told us to call him so we did and had a great visit with him. We sure do love and miss him. We will be glad to have him home for Christmas next year. We had a great time, Bailey is so fun to hang with and she can be so funny too. The day after Christmas we got up early and we left our house at 5:45 and drove to the Curtis Ranch. We made it in record time. 3 hours and 45 minutes. We even drove through the drive in in Pocky for some breakfast. We had a great time seeing Mom and Dad and Katie, Wes, and family. We visited and ate well. The boys did some shooting. It was a great time.
