What a joy it has been to have spent the last couple weeks as a complete family. We have so enjoyed each other. As a mom it could not get any better! It was hard to have to send Bailey back to school after spring break and she still lives here. It will be harder to send Dalan off to college again. But we are all comforted to know that he is only a 40 minutes drive away and a phone call away. It makes it so much easier. We also know that it is what he needs in his life and it is for the best. I feel so blessed!
This weekend was Easter and it was very fun. We colored eggs again (first time with the Panter kids). I love it that Bailey loves to color eggs. The colors were so brilliant. We just used the old fashion food coloring method. We wanted to see what the color would do on our already died straight from the chicken eggs and it even worked on them. They were gorgeous colors. On Saturday we went out to Rigby and visited Verna as she is healing from having a pace maker put in. She has been staying with Lisa and her family. It was fun to see everyone. We then went to Wingers and ate for Dalan's birthday. We also went to a movie. It was a good time. On Sunday we went to church and came home and ate a nice dinner. It was really weird not to have any family over and be at any family's house for Easter but we had a great time. We then watched a movie we got for Easter (We bought a Zoo) and had a nap and then we went for a drive and visited Scot and Dani and family. It was a beautiful day and we don't have any snow. Really crazy for us, we usually have real yucky weather for Easter. We also gave Dalan his presents since Bailey would be at school on Monday. He got a 7mm bar gun and some wrenches from Bailey. He was really excited. Almost as much as his Dad. hehe. On Monday the 9th we went into town and had a hamburger at the new hamburger place in the old Burger King. Hartshorns are doing there own burgers and I can honestly say that it was the best burger I have ever eaten! It was so good. We came home and had cherry cheesecake per Dalan's request. Happy 21st birthday! How can that be???? I love both my kids so much! Stacy you are my #1 always.
