Goldylocks does not live here.........

A week ago or so we got a phone call that there was a bear in the neighborhood. He had broke a huge branch off of a apple tree over on Packsaddle Estates. I guess he had been over to Terry Kay's and had been in a grain bin. Well about a week ago we saw that he had been here. By our new shop there were some choke cherries (not very much because of frost) but he had striped the tree of the berries. There was also a big pile of dung. We went and bought a couple of bear tags but haven't thought much about it other than being careful when we are outside. With harvest it was not the first thing on our list to worry about it. Also the other day we woke up and my one bucket of flowers had been dug out and scattered all over the side walk. Didn't think much about it just assumed that the dogs had done it. A couple of day ago another bucket of flowers again right by our door to laundry room was dug out again. Again thought it was probably the dogs. Well this morning when Dalan was going out to help Stacy he saw claw tracks all over our cement pad in front of the garage. It is crazy. You can see where he has walked and his claws and scratched the cement. There are a few places it looks like he really scratched at the cement. Also in our back yard there has been some scratching at the gopher holes in the lawn and dirt is thrown back a lot farther than Stacy thinks a dog would do. Crazy Crazy. I am not too excited about having a bear come eat my porridge or sit in my chair or lay in my bed!
