I know that my husband REALLY loves me. He made this bread box when he was in college and we have used it since we have been married. He and I are big wood lovers, but I wanted to give it some paint and color for the kitchen. I hesitated to even ask, but he said I could paint it. I had some issues doing it, isn't the best job but it looks good in kitchen.
