Time Out For Women

I had a super great week end with my favorite women friends. My awesome MOM and SISTER and DAUGHTER. It was great. We all met in Pocatello on Friday. We went to Applebee's and had supper and then we went to the Holt Arena for the first event. It was so good. One of my favorite authors Jason Wright talked and Jenny Oaks Baker played her violin. Amazing. She is the daughter of Dallin H Oaks the apostle. Also the women that wrote President Monson's biography Heidi Swinton spoke and that was a wonderful talk. We went back to the hotel and visited and then tried to sleep.ha ha. Then on Saturday morning we ate breakfast at the hotel and headed back to the Holt Arena. It was such a fun, spiritual, uplifting day. Great speakers that totally lift you and beautiful music and song. Those that talked were: Amanda Dickson (interesting, she isn't a member of the church but we all hope she is some day), Macy Robison, Brad Wilcox (really good talk), Merrilee Boyack, Kris Belcher(totally awesome talk, she is blind and what a positive out look she has! A strong spirit. A the musical group Mercy River sang, we loved them.)  I pray that I can keep that spirit this week and CHOOSE TO BECOME!

This picture was taken by the TOFW staff and we saw it on their web site. Pretty cool, huh!
