Missionary Work

What an amazing evening we have had here tonight. The spirit of missionary work is awesome. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints is true, we have a living Prophet who teaches us today, our loving Heavenly Father loves us, loves us so much he sent his Son, Jesus Christ to suffer for us so that we may return and live in heaven with our families forever. We are so blessed.
I am so thankful for our sweet Bailey and the spirit she possess and for her prayer being answered. Since school started she has prayed for a missionary experience. Not only has she prayed for this but she has lived her life lifting others and being aware of people and their needs. She has opened the door for lots of different people to join her group of friends. I am so proud of her. In Seminary she is the "Mother" and her "Daughter" is Hailey Becker. Hailey is not a member but is taking seminary. Bailey found out that Hailey lives in our ward boundaries. She has invited Hailey to YW. Then on Sunday she showed up at church. It was an amazing day. The missionaries were actually speaking in our ward. I'm not sure how but they have had some minimal contact with Hailey. Bailey walked around the chapel after following a prompting to walk the way that she never does and ran into Hailey and the missionaries. She heard her name and went over and talked to them. They asked if they could give Hailey the discussions in our home. Bailey didn't hesitate at all and that is how we came to tonight's event. The missionaries just left our house with Stacy, and Bailey just took Hailey home. Hailey is so prepared. The missionaries committed her to baptism and she accepted. (November 19) Wow. The spirit was so strong and it was so awesome to feel a little of what Elder Dalan Lerwill has been doing, serving in Arizona. Different state, different people, different time, different circumstances but the exact same spirit and feeling. Bailey has had some awesome talks with Hailey. Bailey is so excited to be part of this. She can't hardly believe how it is coming together. She asks "What did I do?" We told her that this is the best part that you are just being you and living your life like you should and are setting an awesome example. She has been watched and I know that the spirit radiates from her. She is a good girl. We love her so much. We will help Hailey any way we can and pray for her. She can use all of your prayers too.
